Guild leadership
Like another noble institute of higher education, the college has got a competent and committed team of student leaders called guild leaders who attain their respective posts upon a majority vote by the entire Guild and elegibility of fulfillment after the guild constitution. The guild leaders are sectioned as per the arms of the guild constitution that’s to say the Guild executive council (GEC), the Guild Representative Council (GRC), and the Governing Council Representative (GCR). It’s a yearly term of office for majority of the arms with an exception of the GCR.
The Guild Executive Council (GEC)
It is chaired by the Guild president and comprises of
i. The Guild President
ii. The Vice Guild President (minister of foreign affairs)
iii. The minister of finance
iv. Minister of Health and Residence
v. Minister of education and information
vi. Minister of sports
vii. Deputy minister of sports
viii. Minister of agriculture and Nutrition
ix. Deputy minister of agriculture and nutrition
x. Minister of women affairs
xi. Chair person construction committee
xii. Minister of constitutional and internal affairs
The Guild Representative Council (GRC)
It’s the parliament of the institution and it’s chaired by the Rt. Hon Guild Speaker. It consists of a total of 23 Honorable members from various faculties and designations of the institution.
The Governing Council
It’s composed of 3 student leaders among which at least one must be female. These sit on the school governing council to represent the views and bridge the gap between the Governing Council and the Guild at large.
